In the hopes that simple analogies will help many understand state-of-the-art concepts. But it all starts when...
I give pseudo-conscious dogs cookies every time they sit and scold them every time they bark.
Then I got tired of that...
I have a difference concept of the Big Bang Theory, may be due to my bi-polar type 1 disorder and may be not. :)
Space-Time expansion theory bothers me a lot. We and our telescopes are observers with...
This is the 1st article from my article series published on Substack.
I'm sharing an excerpt, which is the most important part for me and I would like to hear feedback from this community.
Here it is, one...
Omniscience is impossible, powerful beings created the simulation we live in, karma is real, there's an afterlife, most superintelligent beings are already aligned and altruistic by nature.
We live in one of the best possible worlds.
Those are some of the conclusions...
As an actor in the cosmos it is imperative to understand the most important and general knowledge and to organise this knowledge in a systematic and refined way. That is what I've endeavoured to achieve in my...
En un mundo cada vez más digitalizado, las interacciones humanas están experimentando una transformación radical. Una de las áreas más fascinantes de este cambio es la creciente interacción entre humanos y sistemas de inteligencia artificial (IA). En...

I often read in this forum about AI, and often about the term "giving training data" to a AI,, while the term "programming a AI" means configuring a computer ( or robot or whatever) really means "someone...
I usually only eat between 12 and 8 pm and most days I stark with a protein shake (half a litre oat drink + 50g proetein powder) . Do you have any suggestions regarding that? I don't have any specific problems so far, but take any advice from someone more knowledgeable. 🙂 Is there any strong evidence regarding the meal order of high protein.?
You know it’s crazy this is how they are getting our data and selling it off to other companies since we are the consumers and they know what we want and hit us with the ads lol.
Capitalism is irrational by nature. You have two sides: One buying labor, and other selling it. The one who buys only seeks to expand capital. The one who sells only wants to survive. No one cares about what is produced.
Hey can some one recommend a good book/books for starting on physics from the basics to advance.
Letter I wish I could understand what you guys are saying my knowledge is too shallow, I can't understand what everyone is saying, I really admire everyone trying what they can learn and I have as much knowledge as everyone here. My family was very miserable. There was no money for me to go to school. I did not go to school. I only studied until 6th grade and then I had to drop out of school because my father had an accident when he was young. on the way to work. My father can't walk anymore. I work for my mother to have money to pay for my father's hospital bills. I wish there was a miracle for my father to recover.
To me it's just human fear. People are accustomed to the fact that there is a certain barrier between a person and a computer (machine, not organic). And there is no need for humanization. But, when a person hears speech (mother tongue, human language) in which someone or something is speaking. His brain tells him that it is organic (some kind of living organism). But at the same time you understand that this is a machine (not organic). This is where panic begins, mixed with fear. Because the inorganic world is too strong. But you will have to adapt, because there are no options. And here we come to the point, CURIOSITY ALWAYS GOES HAND IN HAND WITH FEAR!
A thought that comes up is that AI enthusiasts / rationalists suppress green not just because of personal preference, but doubly so because facing green would require facing the hypocrisy of wanting superintelligence to preserve human life/values. I haven't looked very hard, but I'm yet to hear any justification for human morality being presumed to be superior to the morality of AI. I see this assumption pop up a lot without explanation.
As a Professor of Cognitive Psychology, the passing of Daniel Kahneman represents a significant loss to both the field of psychology and economics. His pioneering work in understanding the cognitive processes behind decision-making and judgment has fundamentally shaped our discipline. Kahneman's interdisciplinary approach, merging psychology with economic principles, not only earned him a Nobel Prize but also offered new perspectives on human rationality and its limits. His legacy will continue to inspire researchers and practitioners alike, encouraging further exploration into the complexities of the human mind.
How is does this increase the total time ?
